Cape Cod Senior Residences offers local seniors 84 spacious, well-appointed apartments and the option of an array of supportive services in a comfortable, secure environment. The community also features a variety of lovely community rooms and outdoor spaces. We are located on the grounds of the former Barnstable County Hospital just off County Road in Pocasset, MA (a village of Bourne, MA). Residents who choose our assisted living option enjoy a wide range of services and amenities, including a vibrant program of social, cultural enrichment and wellness activities, personal care services, assistance managing medications, fine dining, housekeeping and laundry. An Affordably-Oriented Community Our unique 100% affordable community is open to seniors 65 years or older whose incomes are at or below 60 percent of the area median income. A Public-Private Venture The development of Cape Cod Senior Residences was spearheaded by the Barnstable County Commission, which allocated 8.5 acres of land for the project. Additional local public institutions, non-profit organizations, for-profit companies and countless individuals joined together to support and plan the project over a ten-year period. Sharing the vision of the Barnstable County Commissioners, the non-profit Housing Assistance Corporation of Hyannis (HAC) and developer Realty Resources Chartered of Maine formed a public-private partnership to develop Cape Cod Senior Residences. The community is managed by Senior Living Residences of Boston, a trusted name in senior housing and care. Serving the Community Cape Cod Senior Residences primarily serves local seniors in the towns throughout Upper Cape Cod, MA, including Bourne, Falmouth, Sandwich and Mashpee, MA. Residents from Mid Cape Cod, Lower Cape Cod and the Islands are also welcome! We also have residents from many other towns, including those north of the Cape Cod Canal, including Wareham, Carver and Plymouth.
