Set on 7 acres of beautifully landscaped grounds with a courtyard, we are considered one of the premier assisted living and Alzheimer's communities in the Greater Mount Vernon area. Located close to Route 36 and 229, our community offers 90 senior living apartments, all on one level for easy access. Residents also have access to all that Mt. Vernon has to offer, from the traditions and craftsmanship of the local Amish community to a progressive and artistic culture nurtured by Kenyon College. Knox Community Hospital is less than a mile away.

Our activity center, the Buckeye Room, is organized for hobbies, crafts, and other activities. There is a walking trail for outdoor exercise, and a beautifully landscaped outdoor courtyard and patio for the relaxation of the residents. HillenVale participates in many community events and often hosts them. HillenVale offers complete social, cultural and recreational programs along with a fitness and exercise program. There are outings to local attractions, cultural events and other planned services. All major holidays are celebrated with family and friends.
