Paradise Island - Overview
When you think of paradise, certain things come to mind such as; Palm trees, sunshine, water, fun, and relaxation. These are just a few of the things you’ll enjoy here at Paradise Island.
The social committee has energetic creativity on the mind. The huge clubhouse is host to many fun-fulfilling activities residents enjoy time after time. Every Sunday there is a non-denominational service where everyone is welcome. The committee also organizes dances, card games, and potlucks.
Some of the other amenities here at Paradise include a heated pool, where water aerobics take place, a beautiful hot tub for relaxation, Shuffleboard courts, horseshoes, a great fishing lake, and a pool table.
The Sunshine Community Corporate Team along with the Paradise Island manager plans a Resident Appreciation Day every year in the spring, a Strawberry Festival. This event is always a well-attended big event.
Several years ago, Newby management developed a resident satisfaction monitoring system for each of their communities called InsightTRACK. Once a year residents are randomly surveyed for their opinions. Tracking this information from year to year helps management serve its residents better. Management teams who excel in service are rewarded.
