Located close to Highways 285 and 78, our community offers 60 apartments on one floor for easy access. Here our residents enjoy retirement living. Yet should you need a helping hand from our warm and caring staff, we also offer complete memory services, tailor-made to your needs. We've designed our services to focus on wellness, helping you maintain or improve your health, so you can live as independently as possible.

Our community also offers an innovative memory care program, Join Their Journey®, for seniors affected by Alzheimer's or dementia. Because each family's experience will be unlike any other, the goal is to get to know everyone so caregivers can offer support and solutions for each individual situation. They "join the journey" by recognizing individuality, encouraging choices and allowing residents the dignity to live in a secure, personalized and familiar setting that feels comfortable for them.
Our common areas â including our lovely dining room, TV room and activities center â give residents and their loved ones the opportunity to get to know one another. We also offer a wide range of activities each month, including exercise classes and community outings. The Emeritus at Decatur is conveniently located in a urban area near downtown Decatur and the North Dekalb Mall. Several medical facilities are also close by, including Dekalb Medical Center, Wesley Woods Geriatric Hospital, Emory Hospital and a nursing home rehabilitation facility if ever needed.
