Located near I-605, our community is in the beautiful Historic District of Whittier, just minutes away from uptown Whittier. Our cozy home offers apartments on two floors, where residents — in many cases, with their pets — enjoy retirement living. Yet a helping hand from our warm, caring staff is always close by. Plus the entire community is wheelchair accessible and easy to maneuver around.

Our common areas — including our activities room with fireplace and beautiful outdoor patio — give residents and their loved ones the opportunity to get to know one another. We also offer a wide range of activities every month, including the opportunity to join the Community Committee, off-site excursions and exercise programs. Emeritus at Whittier is in a residential area just minutes from shopping centers, boutiques, dinning, banks and beautiful Seal Beach, a 25-minute drive. In addition, we are near several medical facilities, including Presbyterian Hospital, Bright Medical Center, Beverly Hospital and other healthcare institutions, as well as a nursing home rehabilitation center if ever needed.
