From its relaxing, town atmosphere to themed events and day trips to local landmarks such as the Glastonbury Ferry, Rose's Berry Farm, and Bolton Lake, Buckingham Estates is a truly well-rounded community of care and life enrichment.

At Buckingham Estates, you will find forty spacious, sun-filled private senior apartments that remind you and your loved one of the comforts of home, and six unique, L- shaped "friendship suites" that allow each resident to have privacy while offering the security of knowing that they are not alone. Apartments can come furnished if you prefer and all rooms are equipped with emergency call buttons conveniently located by the bed and in the bathrooms. All bathrooms are handicap-accessible with built-in shower chairs to promote self care and independence for as long as possible as well as heat lamps to maintain a comfortable temperature.

Buckingham Estates was designed architecturally from the ground up with memory care in mind. Reminiscent of a small town, our two wings with 26 residents in each are mirror images of one another with nostalgic themes throughout. Each wing has comfortable common areas for families to visit with their loved one including a living room with fireplace, dining room, TV area, country kitchen, and two enclosed outdoor patios for both families and residents to enjoy. Our walking path allows our residents to get daily exercise and appreciate nature’s wonders while being provided with a safe perimeter for independence by our staff.
