Scenic lakes with fountains
From pristine rivers for boating and fishing to lush forests and preserves, the Nature Coast offers a relaxed “Old Florida” lifestyle that is worth the wait.
In the heart of Citrus County, Homosassa is known for its natural wonders,
including spectacular wildlife such as manatees, sea turtles, pelicans, and
sandhill cranes. Yet, conveniences such as shopping, dining, banks, and
churches are all within five miles of Stonebrook.
The 210-acre Homosassa Springs Wildlife State Park, the unofficial manatee
capital of the world, is located three miles to the south. The area is also
home to the Yulee Sugar Mill Ruins Historic State Park, only five miles to the
south, and the quaint fishing village of Old Homosassa, within six miles of
Stonebrook. Seven miles to the north is the city of Crystal River, “The Gem
of the Nature Coast”.
