Senior Living Residences newest community is the Compass at Hopkinton in Hopkinton, Massachusetts. Compass at Hopkinton offers innovative research-based programming that treats the symptoms of those living with memory loss in a lovely assisted living residential setting. The Compass at Hopkinton a state-of-the-art Memory Support Assisted Living community featuring 44 apartments, with comfortable living and dining areas, for those with varying levels of memory loss, including Mild Cognitive Impairment (early memory loss), diagnosed Alzheimer's disease and other dementias.
Our innovative Reconnections Program, developed by Senior Living Residences, is the bedrock of our activities programming. This curriculum-based adult learning program is backed by research that cognitive stimulation may slow the progression of Alzheimerâs, and that individuals with Alzheimer's still have the ability to learn. Our material-rich courses are focused on residentsâ past and present interests and developed to elicit an engaged response, as well as provide residents with a way to re-connect with their past experiences, re-engage with past learned materials, and benefit from the joy of learning. The Reconnections Program takes place in an interactive, socially stimulating setting, focused on achieving new learning and keeping minds active.
Our Respite Programs offer short-term stays with all the benefits of residency without a long-term commitment. Families turn to Respite Care during vacations and business travel or simply to afford them a much needed break from the everyday stresses of caregiving. Individuals also sometimes live with us short-term as a âtrial stayâ when considering Compass at Hopkinton.
