The Woodlands at Furman - Overview
The Woodlands at Furman is the only locally owned, not-for-profit senior living community in the Upstate to offer Life Care. The 22-acre campus is adjacent to Furman University and just minutes away from downtown Greenville. Residents of The Woodlands also have access to a variety of services and programs at Furman University, including OLLI, The Osher Lifelong Learning Institute. The Woodlands encourages residents to continue growing, learning and discovering life.
The Woodlands offers 132 independent living apartments. One-, two- and three-bedroom apartments are available, with multiple floor plans to choose from. Apartment homes boast many impressive features, including full kitchens, screened porches and balconies, walk-in closets, ample storage and spacious living areas. In addition, apartments include a washer and dryer, cable and Wi-Fi.
The Woodlands also features maintenance-free living, which means more time for you to explore the community’s numerous services and amenities, such as the library, club room, art studio, and state-of-the-art fitness center.
In addition to independent living, The Woodlands offers health services, all located onsite. These services include assisted living, memory care, skilled nursing and rehabilitation. The Woodlands also provides companion care for seniors living in the Greenville area, and respite stays for those who need a short-term stay with full-time care.
